Part I
In the first section of the course, we'll address how to select the right college for you. We explore what questions you should be asking to be sure the college not only fits you academically, but socially and culturally as well. Upon completing this section of the course, you'll know how to narrow down your list to those schools you will actually apply to.
Part 2
In the next section of the course, we will explore the types of college application forms. I'll also the address the college essay requirement, how to get your grades (a transcript) sent to the admissions office, and getting your ACT/SAT scores sent. Having been an English teacher, I will also share with you how you should ask for letters of recommendation from your teachers. I'll even talk about how to access financial aid.
Part 3
In this final section of the course, I'll clarify the deadline process and how to best plan for them. We will close out the course saving the best for last by looking at what colleges consider to be the most important admission factors.
